Rural Focus

Our multi-tiered selection process ensures that our scholarship recipients are “the best and the brightest.”

Bridging Program

Our twelve month bridging program helps rural students adapt quickly and efficiently to the academic and social rigors of Uplands College.

Leadership Development

During their five years at Uplands, KLM students also participate in a leadership development curriculum that prepares them for the responsibilities ahead. This curriculum culminates in a home investment project, a development project that they design and execute in their home community, thus building in each of them an ethic of service and entrepreneurship.
